The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here. Drake has announced the For All The Dogs release date and it’s right on time for the Fall season. The Drake For All The Dogs release date is set for September 22nd.
Drake took to his Instagram page to announce the date, September 22nd, with a vintage video of his dad, Dennis Graham, playing with a band behind him. In the footage, which appears to be from the 90s, Dennis is called “Cousin Dennis.”
Dennis confirmed the footage’s date via an Instagram comment, seemingly reminiscing about the cool moment.
“Awwwwwwww thank you Son 1991 Toronto Canada, seems like a hundred years ago, For All the Dogs [prayer hands emojis and 100 percent emojis,” he commented.
Fans everywhere rejoiced, especially on social media as they’ve been impatiently awaiting a solid release date for Drake’s album. As Parle Magazine previously mentioned, avid listeners of Drizzy drew the conclusion that For All The Dogs would drop on the morning of August 25th. However, they were met with disappointment when that turned out not to be the case.
To make matters worse, rapper and good friend of Drake, Lil Yachty took to TikTok to poke fun at everyone for expecting an earlier For All The Dogs release date.
“By the way, I know you thought For All The Dogs was coming out tonight. Joke’s on y’all because no one ever said that it was. You gotta stop believing things you hear on the internet,” Yachty hilariously teased in a TikTok video at the time.
He continued teasing Drake fans by going on Twitter and calling them “stupid” for even believing such a thing.
“Y’all stupid, nobody even said for all the dogs was comin out tonight,” he tweeted.
The Drake For All The Dogs release date is just around the corner, as September just began. Can’t wait.
