Jamie Foxx stars in a brand new Prime Video movie set to premiere in theaters and on the streaming service next month. The courtroom drama also stars Tommy Lee Jones and Journee Smollett among others. The Burial movie, based on The New Yorker article by Jonathan Harr premieres in theaters on October 8th and on the streaming service a week later, on October 13th.
The Burial is Foxx’s 2nd film release since dealing with a very serious medical condition, which left him hospitalized for a long period. When he reemerged, he promised that he had a lot of project in the works.

The Burial movie synopsis:
Inspired by true events, when a handshake deal goes sour, funeral homeowner Jeremiah O’Keefe (Academy Award winner Tommy Lee Jones) enlists charismatic, smooth-talking attorney Willie E. Gary (Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx) to save his family business. Tempers flare and laughter ensues as the unlikely pair bond while exposing corporate corruption and racial injustice in this inspirational, triumphant story.
Mamoudou Athie, Pamela Reed, Bill Camp, and Alan Ruck also star in the film. The Burial is Rated R and has a run time of 126 minutes.
