The Queen Bey herself, Beyoncé, has been a vocal advocate for a meatless diet. She and her husband, Jay-Z, launched the 22 Days Nutrition challenge, encouraging fans to try a vegan lifestyle for 22 days. According to Marca, Beyoncé is no longer vegan and has since adopted a pescatarian lifestyle – which includes eating fish and other seafood.

Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton adopted a vegan diet in 2017, driven by concerns for animal welfare and the environment. Lewis has been outspoken about how the diet has improved his athletic performance and recovery times.

“With this new plant-based diet, I can have more carbs, which is contradictory of what you’d normally have thought diet-wise,” he told CNN, adding, “Physically, I feel the best I’ve ever felt. I feel incredibly clean and healthy.”

Soul singer Erykah Badu has been a vegan since the late 1990s and is known for her holistic lifestyle. She frequently discusses veganism’s spiritual and health benefits, emphasizing how it helps her maintain her vocal health and overall wellness. Her diet consists of raw fruits, vegetables, nuts, and other grains. However, the singer doesn’t subscribe to the vegan label.

“I wouldn’t call myself a vegan because I don’t subscribe to any type of organizations,” she told People. “It’s just what’s best for my body.”
