Metro Boomin, a renowned music artist, is facing legal troubles with serious allegations of sexual assault. The rapper’s legal representative has vehemently denied the claims, asserting his innocence.
On Oct 29, a legal case was filed by the plaintiff, Vanessa LeMaistre accusing Metro Boomin of sexual assault including rape that led to a now aborted pregnancy. The incident is said to have happened in 2016, with the Grammy artist drugging and raping her.
According to her, while mourning the loss of her son who was barely a year old, she met the artist on a trip to Vegas in 2016. In Los Angeles, Metro extended an invitation to her to return to his recording studio. She asserts that he consumed an excessive amount of narcotics (codeine) while in the studio.
It was allegedly not long after Vanessa took half a Xanax tablet and a shot of alcohol, it caused her to become unconscious, and she passed out on the couch. Upon regaining consciousness, she saw that she was lying in a bed. She remembers Metro raping her and engaging in cunnilingus with her without her consent.
As soon as she opened her eyes, she realized that she was sleeping in a hotel room, and she had no idea how they had arrived there. The Metro informed her of their location, stating that they were in a hotel room in Beverly Hills and that they were required to leave.
Sanders Roberts LLP will represent Metro Boomin in defending his case. Metro Boomin’s legal representative, lawyer Lawrence Hinkle II gave a public statement to address the sexual battery. It says,
“This is a pure shakedown. These are false accusations. Mr. Wayne refused to pay her months ago, and he refuses to pay her now. Mr. Wayne will defend himself in court. He will file a claim for malicious prosecution once he prevails.”
His legal representatives claim they will counter-sue the plaintiff once the defendant is declared innocent in court.
