Halle Bailey, the renowned singer, and actress, recently took to social media to issue a public apology following the drama that occurred with her baby daddy, DDG in relation to baby Halo.
The social media drama between Halle Bailey, DDG, and Kai Cenat started yesterday when the singer saw her baby, Halo, on a Twitch stream without her knowledge or permission.
The Angel singer instantly took to X formerly called X to express her displeasure DDG over the appearance of their child in the stream and people on social media found Halle Bailey’s actions a little dramatic.
In a tweet that has since been deleted, Halle expressed her unhappiness with her baby being exposed to a wide audience on Kai Cenat stream and was upset she was not told beforehand of this appearance by DDG. The singer wrote,
“hi everyone. just so you know i am out of town and i don’t approve of my baby being on a stream tonight. i wasn’t told or notified and i am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people. i am his mother and protector and saddened that I wasn’t notified especially when i am out of town.”
She further added in the following tweet,
“as a woman experiencing severe postpartum, there are boundaries that I wish to be respected. nobody knows what someone is going through until they snap.”
Halle soon faced backlash from fans on social media, leading to more drama. Many disapproved of her take on the matter, leading to the singer deactivating her Twitter handle.
In a new turn of events, she reactivated her handle and expressed gratitude to her former partner, DDG, for his parenting skills and fellow content creator, Kai Cenat. She shared in a new tweet,
“yesterday maybe i did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here. i know that halo is always safe with his dad. i just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing. thank u kai for the gifts for halo.”
Here are some of the reactions to Halle’s Tweets
So instead of you just talking to your child’s father about this, you felt the dire need to tell us? What exactly are we to do with this information? https://t.co/SalIens3oz
