Netflix has premiered a new movie starring Kevin Hart called 72 Hours. The film released on July 24, 2026 and is sure to be one of the most films of the weekend. It was directed by Tim Story who previously worked on movies like the Ride Along franchise and Think Like A Man, both of which featured Hart.
72 Hours is also co-produced by Will Packer, John Davis, and Hartbeat Productions, which is owned by Kevin Hart.
The script was written by Matt Mider & Kevin Burrows (Comedic Duo). Jon Hurwitz & Jayden Schlossberg (the creators behind ideas like Cobra Kai).
The movie follows Joe (Kevin Hart), a 40-year-old advertising executive at the downfall of his career trying to keep up with the daily trends. However, Joe gets accidentally added into a group chat full of 20 year olds who are going to a bachelor party trip in Miami. He gets invited, and ultimately decides to join there there. That’s where the shenanigans ensue.
The cast of 72 Hours include Marcello Hernández as Nick, Mason Gooding as Mason, Teyana Taylor as Jennifer, and Kam Patterson. Others include Ben Marshall, Zach Cherry, Michael Mando, and Mike Epps.
