Shirley Caesar Comments Show Support For Kim Burrell, Social Media Promptly Drags Her
For 2017 the church seems to be ready to take on homosexuality in a way they haven’t for the last few years. But, its not going well to start off the year. First, Kim Burrell made some extreme comments in front of a congregation and even took some shots at Bishop Eddie Long. Now, Shirley Caesar comments show support for Kim Burrell with some video of her own, seemingly taking a stand against homosexuality.
While Shirley Caesar wasn’t as extreme as Kim in her words, she definitely took a clear stance in the argument, saying:
“You (Kim Burrell) should’ve said something 4 years ago when our President made that stuff alright!”

Social Media also took a clear stance, calling Shirley Caesar a bigot and placing her in the same box right next to Kim Burrell, of cancelled, outdated, hateful speakers.
