T.I. Will Be Starring In A New Fox Crime Drama Series, Atlanta’s Most Wanted

With the sixth and final season of  T.I. & Tiny: A Family Hustle coming to an end, Tip ‘T.I.‘ Harris is already embarking on his next TV endeavor. The 36-year-old rapper and actor will be starring in an upcoming FOX police drama, titled Atlanta’s Most Wanted. The project comes from Jerry Bruckheimer Television and will hold Harris, himself, as an executive producer.

Written by Rodney Barnes (The Boondocks), the character-driven procedural series focuses on Marcus Armstrong, portrayed by Harris, the son of a notorious criminal. After being recruited by a new vice squad to take down the growing rate of criminals in the city of Atlanta, Armstrong soon finds himself in a tug of war. He realizes that his involvement could jeopardize a kept secret of his own, one that could possibly be detrimental to his livelihood.

“I am honored to partner with Fox and Bruckheimer on what is truly a passion project for me.” Harris expressed, according to Deadline. “It’s going to be amazing to see my city represented in this fashion.”

There is no arrival date for Atlanta’s Most Wanted just yet, but we are definitely anticipating it. We must say, the plot, itself, seems very interesting.

In other news, Harris has been keeping quite busy lately. He recently joined forces with comedian Kevin Hart to bring forth a new music-based comedy series, called The Studio.

The series will chronicle the day-to-day and night-to-night operations happening within a music recording studio, Deadline reports. Aeysha Carr (Everybody Hates Chris) will serve as the writer, while Harris and Hart will both executive produce and make guest appearances throughout the season. Though we don’t have a specific date for that either, we do know that it’s in development.
