Mass Appeal Teams Up With Netflix For Hip-Hop Docu-Series ‘Rapture’

Mass Appeal has teamed up with Netflix for a documentary series called Rapture. This new series gives you an inside look into the culture of hip hop as it impacts the world and dominant music charts. In 8 episodes, Rapture jumps into the lives of artists’ showing exclusive material. You see families and friends of musicians, adversity, backstage footage of tour life, look into how hip hop music is orchestrated, and experience what makes a hip hop crowd a hip hop crowd. Each one of the episodes will feature some of hip hop biggest names including Nas, Dave East, T.I., Rapsody, Logic, G-Eazy, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, 2 Chainz and Just Blaze.

Trailers for every one of the artists will continue to debut until the March 30 global Netflix launch.

Nas and Dave East together show you why their raps game’ Oliver Queen and Roy Harper. Nas, co-owner of Mass Appeal, displays to you it is better to help then get hungry with power. Taking the young Dave East under his wing to show him what it takes to be one of the greatest rappers. Mass Appeal records how Dave balances it all and remain humble as life changes.

T.I. is well recognizable in the hip hop culture and have shown plenty of reason over the years as a hip hop act on why he is the king of the south. Although he makes being an international music maker look easy to the cameras, he is facing trials and tribulations on the path to reach the top. Rapture documents Tip perspective on life and his craft. The episode takes you along with T.I. as he shows what drives him to use his voice as a tool for positive change for all.

Rapsody presents to you that even in hip hop you will encounter sexism. This true to the skill MC show evidence of why she is not part of the status quo of female rappers. Experiencing problems that her male counterparts are not exposed to, Rapsody is letting you know why integrity is better than money. She is expressing to  respect her mind and her aim to be one of the best rappers.

2 Chainz transition from the trap house to the big stage is reason why he enjoys the moments in hip hop so much. Mass Appeal and Netflix takes a look at the route 2 Chainz is taking for himself. The documentary will show how through injury the rapper defeated odds and performing for crowds in different cities. 2 Chainz also dropping lessons on how to know your winning.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie might be new to the life of a rap star but that is not stopping him from reaching the next level in hip hop. The freshest face in the docu-series but his name is ringing bells in the streets. Netflix tags along with A Boogie as he shows his neighborhood and shows tactics on how he gets his music to expand among the masses.

Just Blaze is not just your regular producer. This legendary producer gives you an inside look on what it took for him to be legendary. Producing for some of the biggest names in hip hop. Mass Appeal and Netflix shows why music is part of Just Blaze soul and why nobody stands up to his prestige as a producer.
