Radio personality and author Charlamagne Tha God has released his second book Shook One: Anxiety Playing Tricks On Me. Charlamagne has talked about his childhood being a motivating factor for the title of his new book with the fears he went through like being rejected by girls, and getting caught up in crime like his friends and family members have.

Charlamagne has always talked about how being afraid to fail can hold people back and he never went into a situation without knowing the risks of the controversies he put himself in. Confidence has never being an area of weakness for the radio personality and he never will have empathy for people who lack the confidence because you always believe in yourself no matter what.

Charlamagne has never been afraid of any consequences or controversies in his radio career whether it be interviews or having people asking him for a drop by the radio station Power 105.1 in 2012. In 2016, Charlamagne was a part of a crazy short interview with Cash Money CEO Birdman because of comments he made in the past about Birdman not paying his artists their money and during the interview the mogul came up with the familiar phrase “put some respect on my name.”

The Radio host has also being encouraging people to come to the realization that mental illness is a real thing in life and has also talked about having a therapist to help with problems he may have in his personal life. I had some mental health issues of my own because I would be depressed about not having friends and I went to go see a doctor to help me with the problem.

Charlamagne came out with his first book last year in 2017 titled Black Privilege: Opportunity Comes to Those Who Create It, which was New York Times best seller and talked about how black people should never give up on the opportunity to be successful and possibly change their lives.

Look out for the Charlamagne Tha God Shook One book, out now.
