Alicia Keys is gearing up to release her 7th album, her first in four years.  Simply titled, Alicia, the album comes four years after she released HERE, which was met with mixed reviews. Keys recently announced the official album release date would be March 20th and she unveiled the cover for Alicia the album as well.

Alicia has been setting this album in motion for quite a few months now.  Back in September she released the lead single, “Show Me Love,” a duet with Miguel, which has since been remixed featuring 21 Savage.  The music video went on to feature Zoe Saldana, Marco Perego Saldana and Michael B. Jordan.

The follow-up single was “Time Machine”.  Released back in November, the song didn’t quite develop the hype of its predecessor, but it continues to garner attention with the release of new music.

The most recent single from Alicia the album, is “Underdog,” an anthemic track that is already gaining a lot of attention.  The track was released mid January.

No official tracklist for Alicia the album yet, but we do have a release date of March 20th.  Additionally Keys has announced plans for her World Tour, which is set to kick off this June with shows in the States and in Europe. This will be the singer’s first tour in 7 years.  Full dates for the tour and tickets can be purchased here.

As for the immediate future for Keys?  She is set to host the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, taking on hosting duties for the second year in a row. The Grammy Awards will air on January 26th, live from Staples Center in L.A.
