Singer and songwriter Luke James has released his long awaited sophomore album. The singer, who has found success in television and film in recent years is going back to his music roots for a follow-up to his 2014 self-titled album. The Luke James To Feel Love/D album was released on January 31st.
Already a busy week for R&B releases with projects coming from Syleena Johnson and K. Michelle, Luke James is putting his male energy out there as well. James was supposed to release an album in 2018, titled, JOY, led by the single, “These Arms,” but the project never transpired. The Luke James To Feel Love/D album will be an independent release.
The lead single, “go girl” teams Luke up with the fellow R&B rising stars BJ The Chicago Kid and Ro James. “Inspired by ’90s love-black love to be specific,” Luke says of the song and visual. The trio performed the song on the Soul Train Awards recently.
