The internet was not kind when this latest Verzuz battle was announced. Rick Ross vs 2 Chainz doesn’t seem like a great battle on paper and letting social media tell it, it wasn’t a great battle live either.

Rick Ross is something like a Hip-Hop legend, with 10 solo albums, 3 albums under the Maybach Music Group umbrella and several mixtapes that could have been albums themselves.  2 Chainz has 1 quality solo album out of 4 solo album releases.  He released 2 albums as a member of Playaz Circle, but that really only left fans with one hit single.  He has a number of collaboration projects including a joint album with Lil Wayne, in addition to a number of mixtapes and EPs.  But its no denying that 2 Chainz seems like an underwhelming challenger to someone of the caliber or Rick Ross.  So the battle really came down to how many features could 2 Chainz surprise fans with and would they be enough to stun Rick Ross.

Like we have done previously with these Verzuz battles, here’s a round by round break down of the Rick Ross vs. 2 Chainz battle.
