Wale and J.Cole last linked up on Wale’s “My Boy” off his 2018 EP Free Lunch.  “Poke It Out” samples the Q-Tip classic, “Vivrant Thang”.

Folarin 2 is Wale’s seventh album, putting him ahead of quite a few of the artists in his class. Wale previously released two singles from the project, including the lead single “Angles” featuring Chris Brown. It’s the second time Wale has linked up with Breezy.  A visual for the track was also revealed.

The second single, “Down South” features Yella Beezy and Maxo Kream. The track samples the H-Town classic, “Still Tippin”.  The song sort of flew under the radar, but it sounds like a great album cut for the Wale Folarin 2 album.
