Keke Palmer declines taking a picture with a fan?!
No means no, and that’s one thing Palmer seems to be standing firm in–no matter the situation.
Earlier this morning, the singer-actress took to her Twitter account to address an incident that recently happened at a bar.
Apparently, a supporter wanted to flick it up with Palmer, but she politely rejected the individual’s request.
However, upon doing so, the admirer didn’t take it so well and decided to film Palmer anyway.
The “Alice” thespian wasn’t too fond of being recorded without her permission, and she made that clear to her social media following.

Twitter has since responded, and this is some of what they had to say…

Can we please stop this? EVERYONE has a right to privacy. Even celebrities. it’s so warped right now people really believe they are entitled to you, when your not on the clock. Yes, she’s a celebrity, but it’s also a job. You want to relax and have privacy after work, yeah? 👀

But if she walked in a room everyday and it was crickets, she would definitely try to do something to be relevant. Let’s not act like we didn’t work hard to be famous. People knowing who you are is how you get jobs.

people need to learn basic human decency and boundaries… just because u want something doesn’t mean ur entitled to it.
— justin (@jusdaydreamin) April 23, 2022
Status doesnt mean people have to or should dilute their boundaries/feelings at the benefit of others & thats what entitled people fail to understand. No means no is simple yet some act like when it comes to them or certain things that the phrase is a gray area when its simple no

Consent is important all around, not just in the bedroom.

It’s crazy how they want to take a picture with a celebrity but the celebrity doesn’t want to take a picture with them. Just for them to still take the picture and post it for likes and validation. I wouldn’t want a photo of anyone on my page that didn’t want a photo with me

Yes 🙌🏼 I’ve met many celebrities and not for sure why people treat them any different.. people get star struck or something. They’re people like everyone else.
— Rachel G (@Rgumeyi) April 23, 2022
Don’t know how you celebs do it. I’d be in jail every week. Stay safe ♥️
— smfh (@wikkymeowinton) April 23, 2022
The fact that there are people under this comment trying to justify this behavior is telling

People always feel entitled to other people’s space. It’s just worse for celebrities.
— War-Maniac (@Monsieur_KB) April 23, 2022
Do you know what the picture might mean to her?
— Genesisprime🕊™ (@Iam_Gene6) April 23, 2022
I hear you Keke. If you said no, and she still filmed, that is a direct violation. Period. I’m sorry you went through that.
— Michelle Paige (@MiMiMiMo23) April 23, 2022
I feel you but you’re an actress. The day people stop wanting to take pictures with you is when you know your career is over. Are you prepared for that?
— Dirty Michael (@dirtymike3638) April 23, 2022
That’s the consequence of being a star 💫 Keke. I understand you’re human also but you can’t literally explain your mood to people every time.

This is the price of fame fame is not a switch you could just turn on and off this is the life you choose

This is so disgusting, I hate how most celebrities are treated like this, no respect for privacy or personal space. If it was me, I would have boxed that phone/camera out of her fucking hand. Disrespectful! I’m so sorry this happened sweety
