Florida’s Kodak Black is in all purple for his new music video, “Purple Stamp.” A tune about the stamps he keeps because he writes letters of encouragement for his family and friends who are incarcerated.
Kodak Black takes on an additional role for this visual as well, serving as the video director of “Purple Stamp.” You’ll find Yak changing between street wear and formal attire; as well as neat purple heart stamps with an image of Kodak Black himself in the heart. The elements of cars, ladies, and money are added to capture the essence of Hip-Hop.
Yak is an urban warrior who could have qualified for a purple heart if he was in the US Army. He was shot in the leg earlier this year following a party hosted by Justin Bieber over Super Bowl weekend. This latest video is a sign that his recovery is going well.
“Purple Stamp” is another single off his recent album Back for Everything. This 19 song studio album included songs like “Super Gremlin,” “Love & War,” and “Grinding All Season.” Back for Everything was made available for digital download and streaming on February 25, 2022.
