Are you into Zodiac signs? Research suggests that over 90% of Americans believe in Zodiac signs and live their lives accordingly. But what if you are not the zodiac sign that you think you are? Apparently, there are 13 Zodiac signs and not just the 12 we all know about.

I recently saw a Tik Tok post where a woman said she has been emotionally scarred by Aries and will never date one again and wishes hell on all Aries! Do you date according to Zodiac signs? I know I have in the past.

For me, I’m a Scorpio, born November 26th. According to the old zodiac calendar, I’m a Sagittarius but I never felt I embodied Sagittarius characteristics. I heard about the addition of a new Zodiac sign back in 2010 and started doing my own research.

After looking deeper into the characteristics of Sagittarius and Scorpio, I felt I had more Scorpio qualities, although some Sagittarius traits are present. I have also presented this theory to friends and family. It looks like those that are not that into astrology accept the change, but those who are heavy believers won’t take the time to even consider a change.

There were a few that I found that felt like the change of the Zodiac signs made all the sense in the world. Either like myself, they never felt like the Zodiac sign they were told they were or did not feel someone else they knew carried the characteristics of “their sign”.

There are also some people whose Zodiac signs did not change at all. For instance, someone born on March 17th remains a Pisces in both the old and new Zodiac calendars. Also, with the change of the Zodiac Calendar a new Zodiac sign was added, called the Ophiuchus.

Below I have added a chart of the old Zodiac calendar dates and the new Zodiac calendar dates for a quick comparison.
