The Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter Ne-Yo is back to soothe us with his sensuous voice and sexual undertones in his new album, Self Explanatory, released tonight July 15, 2022, at midnight. The eighth album from Ne-Yo comes to us via Motown Records and includes 13 tracks.
In the upcoming anticipation of the 13-track LP Ne-Yo has previously released tracks “U 2 Luv” with Jeremih, “Stay Down” featuring BLEU, “Don’t Love Me,” “What If” and his latest tune “You Got The Body.” His single with Jeremih reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Songs chart. In addition to the already mentioned guests, Self Explanatory will also feature Zae France and Trippie Redd.
Self Explanatory is the follow-up to Ne-Yo’s 2018 album, Good Man. The album included features from PartyNextDoor, Eric Bellinger, Candice Boyd, Sam Hook and more. The title track reached No. 1 on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart.
Prior to the album’s release, Ne-Yo posted a cryptic photo of the track list for Self Explanatory as a contest. Whomever could decode the titles of the tracks correctly and post it to his Instagram post, they received a signed copy of the CD and merch!
