In a resurfaced YouTube interview, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson disclosed that since his meteoric rise to stardom roughly two decades ago, he has shelled out close to $23 million in legal fees.

Let’s tune you in, in case you weren’t aware — 50 Cent‘s latest legal issue is with Angela Kogan, owner of Perfection Plastic Surgery & MedSpa. The gangster rapper is set to sue the establishment for placing an unauthorized picture of him in an advertisement promoting the health facility’s services. The medical institution’s services evidently involve cosmetic penis enhancement. The Grammy winning hip-hop artist is suing Kogan and company for utilizing his likeness in such a fashion.

Referencing the messy event, 50 Cent posted to his Instagram: “Set for trial in July no enhancement necessary, these fools put them selves out of business. SMH.”

“I spent over $23 million legal fees since I had success in 2003…So when you say you’re successful or you’re rich in a different way, that money was just written off as expenses of business. You’re in it and I’m going, ‘What?’ When I’m looking at it myself, ‘That’s how much you really spent on that?'” 50 Cent said to Brian J. Roberts during an interview.

50 ensued: “The only thing someone in America can do is sue someone…They’re gonna sue and they’re always gonna be pro-bono or say, ‘We’ll defend you for 30 percent of what we receive off of this because we do see a case.'”

The Southside Jamaica rapper’s most known legal battle was with Lavonia Leviston, Rick Ross‘ now ex-girlfriend. Fif was sued after he leaked a sex tape starring himself and Leviston; he was ordered to compensate her $5 million. Prior to that, in damages tied to a headphone partnership trademark case, 50 was ordered to cough up $17.5 million.
