Female rapper and looks like soon to be recognized as an activist, Cardi B addresses the rising grocery prices around the United States, and Twitter users are singing her praises because of it!

I’m sure if you have been grocery shopping in the past month or so, you too have noticed the rising prices of groceries. Cardi B is not alone, a lot of shoppers have complained that even the price of lettuce has gone from a reasonable $.99 per lb to $5.99 per lb in the poorest of areas in the United States.

On Tuesday January 04, 2023, Cardi B posted a tweet to her Twitter account expressing how she felt about the rising grocery prices. “Naaaaaa grocery shopping prices are ridiculous right now 😑You might as well eat outside !!”

Twitter users had mixed feelings about the tweet as some pointed out that someone as rich as Cardi B should not be concerned about the price of groceries like us “regular folks”, but others argued the awareness of others less fortunate was something to be admired about the New York born rapper.

Girl you rich as hell cut the nonsense you not one of us no more

The fact she’s not broke at all and still concerned about the rapidly increasing price of food should make you appreciate her post even more.

The empathy for those less fortunate financially is absolutely implied.

Now we all know, Cardi B is not one to just let her feelings go unheard. If she has something to say, she is definitely going to say it. After her initial tweet made it’s rounds on social media, Cardi took the time to address the tweet in a video with the caption: “PSA”, where she expresses how she budgets her household and how that lifestyle technique alerted her to the rising prices of groceries.

She goes on to express that when she sees prices rise on products it makes her think about those who are less fortunate and what they must be going through. She ends the video by calling on “whomever is responsible” for the rising grocery prices to do something about it!

Not necessarily cause of me but if we bring enough awareness to inflation you never know https://t.co/cyV24Kzqdp
