Mike Epps busted with a handgun?! Global comedy star Mike Epps is in some serious hot water with the po-po. Indianapolis authorities say they unearthed a loaded handgun in one of the Next Friday actor’s bags while at the Indianapolis International Airport.
An Indianapolis International Airport spokesperson confirmed the incident after speaking to 13News about the firearms investigation.
On March 5 (Sunday) a little after 9 a.m., police officers were contacted in regard to a firearms investigation at an Indianapolis International Airport security checkpoint for suspected firearm concealment inside of a book bag.
Mike Epps spoke with the cops at the airport, informing them he was in his hometown for a performance at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse and totally forgot the handgun was stashed in his bag.

Authorities discovered a .38 Special Airweight revolver loaded with four rounds of 38 Special 110 gr FTX® Critical Defense ammo. According to the report, the location in the cylinder with the firing pin was vacant.
The cops then seized the firearm and gave Epps a bunch of funny looks. Nonetheless, the spokesperson from the Indianapolis International Airport confirmed the All About The Benjamins star was not detained in relation to the handgun discovery and seizure.
The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office informed news reporters the situation is presently being probed to decide if Epps will face a felony gun charge.
