Rotimi welcomes second child with fiancée Vanessa Mdee!
The Nigerian-American actor/musician, and his mate, singer Vanessa Mdee, have made the happy announcement that they have given birth to a lovely baby girl, Imani Enioluwa Akinosho.
Upon the news, Rotimi shared a video of his beautiful, little family, intimately revealing the infant’s name. The Power alumnus added a sweet note saying: “I Still Can’t Wrap My Mind Around To Think I’m Here To Announce The Beautiful Birth Of My Daughter Imani ! I’m Overwhelmed With Love Today…”

Mdee expressed her thankfulness for their newest blessing while reposing the exact same clip of her daughter’s arrival. She captioned, “And then we were 4. Our Princess is here … Imani Enioluwa Akinosho. You have my whole heart.”
In another post, Rotimi uploaded an image of the once-again parents amid labor and delivery. He appreciatively wrote,
“When You Go Through Life And Find Someone That Will Smile With You Through Any Type Of Adversity … When You Find Someone That Through Any Type Of Hurdles They Will Still Find A Way To Laugh With You … When Fear Arises Their First Instinct Is To Grab Your Hand So You Both Can Share Your Bravery … JUST KNOW YOU HAVE OFFICIALLY FOUND YOUR SOUL MATE.”
The name Imani is derived from Swahili meaning “Faith,” while “Enioluwa” is gotten from the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria and means “Testimony of God.”
Rotimi and Vanessa Mdee are speculated to have gotten married last year although no details of the wedding were made public. However, Vanessa added “Mrs A” on her IG which led fans to believe that they were legal. In September 2021, they had their first child, a boy whom they named Seven Adeoluwa Akinosho.
Meanwhile, the artist released his debut album last year, “All or Nothing.”
