Rihanna Will Play This Role in the Upcoming ‘Smurfs’ Movie
During a special guest appearance at CinemaCon, Rihanna said she will do the voice of Smurfette in the forthcoming Smurfs movie.
The 35-year-old, who is expecting her second baby with A$AP Rocky, announced during the Las Vegas event on Friday that she would be appearing in The Smurfs Movie.
The songstress made an appearance at the Caesar’s Palace Hotel and Casino while dressed in a denim dress, cracking jokes with guests about the job.
Variety quoted the pop star as saying, “I tried to get the Papa Smurf role, but it didn’t work out.”
At the same time, Rihanna reportedly said: “I hope this gives me cool points with my kids one day,” adding: “I get to show up in my PJs in my third trimester.”

Additionally, Rihanna has appeared in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets and Ocean’s 8.
The pop star was last spotted in a professional role at the Academy Awards in March. She made the announcement that she was having her second child during her Super Bowl halftime performance earlier this year.
Prior to the ceremony, she shared a video of her son enjoying the “Lift Me Up” music video. At the ceremony on March 12, the pop icon performed the Oscar-nominated song she wrote for the critically acclaimed Black Panther: Wakanda Forever sequel from Marvel.
Rih shared a close-up picture of her son’s face on Sunday that appeared to show him in distress.
The Instagram post’s caption said, “My son when he found out his sibling is going to the Oscars and not him.” In addition, she said, “Swipe for [throwback] of my fat man.”
Rihanna posted a brief video of the baby sitting on her lap at a dining room table, viewing her “Lift Me Up” music video on a laptop.
