Steve Harvey has the Twitter streets in a chokehold after stating that millennial men need to provide more for women in relationships!
During a sit-down with NFL legend Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay, the renowned TV host/comedian explains the problem with new-age men and their failure to financially support their partners.
He says, “These young boys today [ask], ‘What [does] she bring to the table?’ [What] the h*ll you mean, man? What do your a** bring to the table? You got a woman that can come to the cable that can make another you. What else she [needs] to slide up to the table with? What about your job?”
Steve Harvey explains what’s wrong with this young generation of men today asking women what they bring to the table. “A woman can make another you, it’s our job to take care of a woman and some children” pic.twitter.com/JfjE4KQTd2

As you may know, it’s a battle that has been happening for a while now within the modern-day generation. There are many people who are agreeing with him, but then there are others who think that he is simply just “rich enough” to say these things.
Either way, Twitter was not happy about Harvey’s decision to tell the current-day male population what they should or should not ask a woman they are pursuing.
It left many people stating that the time we are in now is completely different than his, alluding that couples in his era might’ve had to struggle versus the number of women who are independent in this day and age.
While some do not see an issue when it comes to making things 50/50, some are debating whether that is even enough.
Here’s what Twitter had to say about it…
[REACTIONS] Steve Harvey Says Men Need to Provide More
Millennial Black Men are the hardest working generation of Black Men in decades. Yet what do we get for our increased productivity? 600lb buffalos who think they have to bring nothing to the table? Fuck that! Steve Harvey can go to hell. https://t.co/wEfxy6kUaw

“You got a woman who can come to the table and make another you.” is a wild thing to say as a man. If you’re so easy to make why does she want or need you? 😂 https://t.co/yM9Fi40pVq

Bringing something to the table does not always have to be financial 🙄

It’s easy for Steve to say that after his episodes of being broke and living in his car. A multi millionaire can’t tell me anything about what a man is supposed to do for a woman. There’s not shame in two incomes and building together.

Not going to litigate who should bring what to what table. But I am going say that this an account called Black Millionaires talking to two Black boomers, a group that disproportionately holds the wealth in Black America. And they only have around $350K net worth in their…
