Remembering Tina Turner for not only all of her music but the impact that she created with her fans.

Anna Mae, also known as Tina Turner was born on November 26, 1939 with a voice that later would reach millions of people nationwide. She was considered the Queen of Rock N Roll, with her biggest hits such as, What’s Love Got to Do With It & River Deep – Mountain High.

Most know her from her marriage with Ike Turner, when she was the lead singer of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue before she became a solo artist and created a fanbase that absolutely adores her.

In 1984, she launched her album Private Dancer which became a multi-platinum and also won the Grammy Award for Record of the Year. What’s Love Got to Do With It became her first and only number one song on the Billboard Hot 100. But she later became the oldest female soloist to top the Hot 100s, at the age of 44.

She has sold over 100 million records worldwide and has become the best-selling recording artist of all time. But she just wasn’t an outstanding musician, she was also an excellent actress as well.

She starred in movies such as, Tommy, Mad Maxx Behind the Thunderdome, What’s Love Got To Do With It, I, Tina: My Life Story.

Although her story with Ike Turner was a tragedy, she gave other women hope to lift their heads up and be able to get out of any situation no matter the circumstance. She gave us hope, love & strength.

She was a woman that you could just look at and know she was someone special, she was a spirit, an energy that you wanted around yourself.

Unfortunately, Tina Turner has passed away on May 24, 2023 due to long lasting illness. She was 83 years old.

We will not forget all of the lessons, the love, the passion, drive and discipline that she has shown us over the years. Remembering Tina Turner will no be hard because we will forever hold her dear in our hearts and homes.
