She was the endearing young actress who co-starred with Eminem in 8 Mile wielding a contagious smile — and now she is all grown up.
Chloé Greenfield‘s life hasn’t been all glamor, luxe, and “good fortune” more than 20 years after her big start, though.
She has also experienced her own ailments, such as a life of “struggle, big problems, pain, and weirdness” in her own words, just like B-Rabbit (Eminem’s character in 8 Mile).
Back in 2002, the young Chloé, who is from Detroit, was cast as Jimmy ‘B-Rabbit’ Smith’s adorable younger sister Lily in the Academy Award-winning film.
Following the critical and commercial success of 8 Mile, Greenfield went on to play supporting roles in Project 13 (2006), and for three seasons, she played the adopted daughter of John Stamos in the medical series ER.

However, her career abruptly took a downward turn, and she stopped appearing in films altogether. “The best and worst times of my life have come and gone despite the opportunities of acting,” Greenfield stated via Instagram.
“For me, good fortune and unique experiences have coexisted alongside struggle, big problems, pain and the weirdness that comes along with living a ‘normal’ life with abnormal societal expectations.”
No matter how it affected Chloé’s life, 8 Mile “undoubtedly changed the course” of it.
Following several unsuccessful auditions, including those for Cheaper by the Dozen (2003) and Charlotte’s Web (2006), Chloe Greenfield’s acting career fell into the gutter.
After finishing high school in Michigan, the actress moved to Los Angeles to continue her education.
The 28-year-old former child star describes herself as a “Actor. Writer. Herbalist. Activist” on social media.
