Believe it or not… there are so many rappers who are Virgos! Since Virgo season is upon us, we’ve decided to highlight our favorites.

Coming in immediately after the raging Leos (July 23 – August 22), Virgo is the sixth tier of the zodiac, which falls right before Libra (September 23 – October 22). The astrology period runs from August 23 until September 22.

Typically, Virgos are known as the three Ps: perfectionist, practical, and persistent. If this earth sign is in your corner, they’re (more than likely) the responsible, strong, or Mr. or Mrs. Know-It-All friend. However, although their attentiveness to detail can be quite annoying, that’s ultimately what we love about them.

From their undeniable drive to their tell-it-like-it-is approach to nearly any situation in life, Virgos are quite the keepers.

Some would even agree that they’re the most dynamic of them all.

Nas was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 14, 1973. The applauded rapper unleashed his debut album, Illmatic, in 1994. The body of work is often considered one of the greatest hip-hop albums ever.

Nas originally rhymed under Nasty Nas but changed his moniker after releasing his single “Halftime” through Columbia Records. With hits like “It Ain’t Hard to Tell,” “Life’s a B*tch,” and “The World Is Yours,” it wasn’t long before the famed lyricist unlocked a new level of mainstream success.

After appearing on the music mogul’s first single, “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down,” and “Been Around the World,” along with the Notorious B.I.G.’s chart-topping hit “Mo’ Money, Mo’ Problems,” the now-49-year-old’s debut album, Harlem World, released in 1997.

Our list of rappers who are Virgos just got even better. The late Eazy-E was born in Compton, California on September 7, 1964. Respected as the “Godfather of Gangsta Rap,” E brought a new meaning to West Coast hip-hop through his group, N.W.A. (comprised of E, Arabian Prince, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, DJ Yella, and MC Ren), and label, Ruthless Records.

His debut album, Eazy-Duz-It, dominated the shelves in 1988 and went double platinum. The project followed his prized work with N.W.A., Straight Outta Compton, which was released the same year and is now triple platinum. The now-Grammy Hall of Famer’s track “F*ck tha Police” became a nationwide anthem upon its premiere.

The exalted wordsmith made history N.W.A. but was also a force on his own. Even after his death, E’s impact still stands relevant.
