Singer-songwriter Summer Walker gets candid about balancing music and motherhood as she confesses to missing her kids while trying to finish her new album.

On December 2nd, the amazing vocalist shared on Instagram some behind-the-scenes sacrifices she has to make to produce new music for her fans to enjoy. She reminded fans she was still a mother after all.

Walker shared some pictures of her family with the sweetest nostalgic note; she wrote, ““I miss my kids so bad I had to create something that reminded me of home. this has been the hardest thing I feel ever I dealt with.”

The “Still Over It” artist revealed that she has not been around her family in a while because she has been working in the studio. She added. ” I havnt been home in a month working on this album.”

Finally, she confesses that it is taking an emotional strain on her. She concluded, “Im actually bout to crash out. Women should really never have to work if it requires them to be away from the kids this sh*t is so TRASH.”

Back in October, Summer Walker announced she would be releasing new music with her new album titled Finally Over It. The singer has been teasing fans on IG as well as giving hints.

To promote a single from the new album, the singer posted a video of herself wearing pink lingerie over a pink gown. The new album will feature the song “Heart of a Woman” as its first track.

Fans can presave the new album ahead of its release. There is yet to be an official release date, and we can’t wait to get a hold of some good music from Summer Walker.
