Baton Rouge, Louisiana bred, NBA YoungBoy, (born Kentrell DeSean Gaulden), has made a name for himself in music, having been a mainstay for well over a decade.  Still in his mid-twenties (born on October 20, 1999) he’s already released a catalog of over a dozen mixtape and albums.  While legal troubles have probably stunted his potential over the years, his streaming numbers say he is one of the biggest rap artists over the last decade.  So we thought we should help introduce him to rap fans, who might want to know more about the man who has a total of 12 children with nine different women, including Yaya Mayweather.  Here’s our list of NBA Youngboy songs for first time listeners and potential new fans.

Formerly known as Youngboy Never Broke Again, the rapper changed his moniker a few years into his career, opting for the shorter NBA Youngboy.  He first started releasing music in 2011 with his first official release being “For A Reason,” though the song is no longer available on his YouTube channel.  He has amassed several hit records over the years, some of which make our list.

It should also be noted that Youngboy has been affiliated at several times with Birdman and Cash Money Records, but ultimately, he is not a Cash Money artist.  He has however, been signed to Universal Records, which has made it easy to partner with Cash Money, as Universal is also their parent company. Youngboy has even released a joint album with Birdman.
