M.O.G.U.L. Sports Group Raises Money for the Fresh Air Fund

This past weekend, M.O.G.U.L. Sports Group and their founder, Marquis L. Taylor, put together a charity event in NYC to donate $1,000 to the national non-profit organization, The Fresh Air Fund.  The event, dubbed, An Evening with M.O.G.U.L. was  the first charity event for the sports group, whose acroynym M.O.G.U.L. stands for Motivating Our Generation To Uplift Lives.

Marquis was inspired to donate to the charity after recently seeing a presentation about them.  The Fresh Air Fund has been around since 1877, providing free summer experiences in the country to more than 1.7 million New York City children from disadvantaged communities. Each year, thousands of children visit volunteer host families in 13 states and Canada through the Friendly Town Program or attend Fresh Air Fund camps.

Marquis promised to continue his efforts to support charities across the country with a quarterly event.  The next event is set to take place in November.  We will keep you posted on the details for the event.
