Wale had one of the more powerful performances during the entire Essence Festival weekend. One of the surprises of his performance was taking a moment to perform “Friendship Heights,” a track which originally features Chance The Rapper on the Wale Festivus mixtape. Check out this remixed and reimagined Wale Friendship Heights performance with a live band here. It sounds amazing…
Wale Friendship Heights live at Essence Fest
Wale performed a number of his hits at this year’s Essence Fest. He performed in one of the smaller showcase rooms, but he packed the house and got everyone on the place hyped with renditions of some of his classics.
Wale had to rush through his performance but he still fit in his hits, “The Body”, “Bad, “The Matrimony” and “No Hands” at Essence Fest 2015. He reminded fans of his many hits, just in case they don’t remember.
