[STREAM] Common Vying For Album of The Year with ‘Let Love’

Legendary rapper Common is not retiring from music anytime soon.  The successful actor/producer has found a lane in television and film, but music remains his first love.  The rapper has released his new album, his 12th project, Let Love on August 30th.  The Common Let Love album is his first since 2016’s Black America Again album.

The most recent single is is titled, “Show Me That You Love.”  Common shared the music video on his social media along with his inspiration for the song.  “When I became a parent, I thought that I would be the one teaching my daughter. Boy was I wrong! My daughter has become one of my favorite teachers along with LIFE.” Watch the visual below:

Last month Common released the single, “Hercules,” which features Swizz Beatz.  The music video for the track was also unveiled.

Prior to unveiling “Hercules,” Common dropped his lead single, “Her Love” with Daniel Caesar a month ago, back in June.

 

The full tracklist has been revealed for the Common Let Love album, featuring 11 tracks and a number of features including Jill Scott, BJ Tha Chicago Kid, Samora Pinderhughes, Daniel Ceasar and more.
