Freddie Gibbs just launched his international wine brand, an international partnership that helped create a major brand. Gibbs teamed up with Built To Spill Wines, founded by wine entrepreneur Tai Tate. The outcome is a natural wine called, Big Rabbit Rosé, approved by Freddie Gibbs and his business manager, Ben “Lambo” Lambert.
Big Rabbit Rosé is made up of Pinot, Chardonnay & Jura-native; Trousseau. As with all Forlorn Hope wines, the Big Rabbit Rosé was made with organically farmed fruit, native yeast fermented with no additives other than a bit of sulfur. Bottled unfiltered and unfined.
The wine creation was inspired by a bottle of cult Jura icon, Jean-Francois Ganevat, which Freddie encountered and became obsessed with while he was on his European tour. This was before the pandemic. So the wine was actually over a year in the making.
The wine was released for purchase on Tuesday November 16th. Each bottle is $40. It can be ordered online at: Forlorn Hope Wines.
