Tory Lanez may need the Cochran firm. Atop the felony charges he was handed during his indictment, the famed singer/producer was just slapped with an additional felony charge by the prosecution for his involvement in the shooting of global hip-hop sensation Megan Thee Stallion.
Tory Lanez is facing a fresh charge of ‘discharging a firearm in a grossly negligent manner to cause bodily injury,’ which is a felony. Lanez was previously indicted by The Los Angeles District Attorney on felony gun and assault charges. In addition, it’s been reported that during the trial the Say It rapper is going to call to the stand reality TV star Corey Gamble and almost-billionaire Kylie Jenner as defense witnesses.
In the summer of 2020, Gamble and Jenner (the significant other and offspring of grande dame Kris Jenner) were said to be present at the foreboding pool gala in Kylie Jenner’s Hollywood Hills abode, where the conflict between Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez began that ultimately resulted in gunfire. As of now, neither Gamble or Kylie have spoke out regarding being potential witnesses in the case.
Meantime, Kelsey (Megan Thee Stallion’s former best friend) is on deck to be called as a defense witness by Megan‘s legal team. Kelsey, Megan, and Lanez were all cruising in the same superfluous vehicle when the verbal dispute ensued and the shooting went down. If convicted, Lanez may serve 22 years in prison (minus the latest felony charge).
