After litigating for more than eight years, Halle Berry and her ex-husband Olivier Martinez are now finalizing the details of their divorce — and it appears the iconic actress has to shell out child support.
The former pair has decided on a custody arrangement for their young son, Maceo, according to recent court documents that The Blast procured. Maceo will have joint physical custody between the ex-couple.
Additionally, as long as he attends a private school, the “Monster’s Ball” actress will continue to support his education.
The court document states, “In exercising joint legal custody, each Party shall consult and cooperate with the other to reach a mutual agreement with respect to issues affecting Maceo ‘s health, education, and welfare and neither Party shall make unilateral decisions impacting Maceo.
“Each Party shall keep the other Party informed of all matters pertaining to Maceo’s health and/or illness, education, and general welfare.”

The “Swordfish” actress will continue to be in charge of her son’s American passport and Oliver will handle his French passport, according to the court documents.
“Upon request, the passport shall be surrendered to the Party traveling with Maceo. Neither party shall withhold Maceo’s passports from the other Party if the passports are needed,” reads the court filing.
The “Boomerang” star will pay her ex $8,000 per month in child support beginning on March 15, 2023. Beginning on April 1, 2023, Oliver will also be entitled to receive 4.3% of Halle Berry’s earnings over $2,000,000 as additional child support for their child. By no later than December 1 of each year, the additional support for Maceo is to be paid in two equal installments.
The 57-year-old bombshell also consents to foot the bill in full for whatever extracurricular activities her kid participates in, like soccer.
The “Catwoman” actress has additionally committed to pay Oliver back for the 2023 soccer program fee, provided Oliver can show that the fee does not exceed $3,500. Berry is also compelled to pay back her ex-husband for Maceo’s tuition for the academic years 2023–2024, according to court documents.
Additionally, the “X-Men” star will keep her son’s medical and dental insurance up to date.
