Super talented singer K. Michelle has been teasing a shift towards a full-length country music album.  Her upcoming 6th studio album is not that!  She’s still soulful, but her down home Memphis roots continue to rise to the top and she get closer and closer to crossover.  The upcoming K. Michelle I’m The Problem album is set to be released on September 22nd.

I’m The Problem is set to be the first release from K. Michelle since 2020’s All Monsters Are Human.  The album was released right before the pandemic and was never able to build the buzz that it could have. The new album features 19 tracks and will be released via MNRK Records.

The I’m The Problem album is led by the single, “Scooch,” which was released over a year ago.

Back in April she released the single, “You,” an R&B smash hit.  Watch the visual below.

The up-tempo “Wherever The D May Land” with Gloss Up was released in May.  It’s the unfiltered K. Michelle we have come to love over the years.

Most recently K. Michelle released “Blame Yourself.”  Maybe the best of all the releases, the song was the perfect track to announce this new album.
