Back where we first started. The idea for Verzuz came about from a battle of their catalogs between Timbaland and Swizz Beatz. Not after a year plus of a successful run, with over 20 battles between some legends, the pair of dynamic producers are returning for another battle of their own. This time with the full backing of the bells and whistles which they have been able to provide for other artists. The highly anticipated Swizz Beatz vs Timbaland Verzuz rematch should be legendary, particularly for those that missed the original battle.
The Swizz Beatz vs Timbaland Verzuz comes on the heels of the DMX album release, Exodus, just a month after his passing. The album is produced almost entirely by Swizz Beatz. Swizz came into the music with DMX and the Ruff Ryders crew and has produced for some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop and R&B, working with anyone you can think of.
Timbaland on the other hand started with Missy Elliott almost exclusively before branching off and creating a name for himself while working with everyone from Jay-z to Justin Timberlake.
